He is a 1986 graduate of Penn High School and went on to receive his bachelors from IUSB in 1992, majoring in business with an emphasis in small business entrepreneurship. In 1988, Larry began working with Carl and Michelene Kay at their family business. Two years later, in 1990, he joined the Kays’ family when he married their beautiful daughter, Kim. Together, they have raised two children, Derrick and Alli. Larry is now manager of Carl Kay Memorials, and has over 32 years of experience in the monument industry. He is an indispensable part of the team, and he loves all the variables the job can bring. Mark Dahms was born and raised in South Bend. He graduated from Washington High School in 1986 and from Ball State in 1990 with a degree in physiology. Mark has selflessly served our community as a professional firefighter with the South Bend Fire Department for over 25 years. In 2007, he joined the Carl Kay Memorials team and works hard to help customers create lasting memorials for their loved ones, which he says is the best part of what he does. Mark enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Tammy, and their two daughters, Kali and Kendall.

Alli Crocker
Alli Crocker

Alli Crocker grew up in Osceola and is a 2014 graduate of Jimtown High School. In 2019, she received her bachelors from IUSB in Elementary Education. Alli is the granddaughter of Carl and Michelene Kay, and the daughter of Larry and Kim Brothers, so she has been around the monument business her whole life. Some of her earliest memories include visiting her grandparents at the “rock shop” and watching her dad do stone work. Alli loves that, now, as an adult, she can work with her dad in a small family business. When Alli isn’t working, she likes to spend her time outdoors, especially at the lake with her husband, Luke and their son, Cameron.
